Refund Policy
At Wendy’s Canine Training, we are committed to providing high-quality, thoughtful training experiences for both dogs and their people. To maintain the integrity of our programs and ensure fairness to all clients, we require a mutual commitment to scheduled services. Our classes are intentionally small and structured, which means each reserved spot matters. Please review the following refund and cancellation policies carefully.
Group Classes
Because group classes are limited in size and progress week-to-week, refunds cannot be issued once a class has begun. Just like a school or course, once the class starts, your spot is reserved and cannot be filled by another participant.
- Cancellations made 1 day or more before the class start date will receive a full refund minus a $20 processing fee.
- Cancellations made less than 1 day before the class start date, or after the class has begun, are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of illness, injury, or scheduling conflicts.
Once a class begins, unused sessions cannot be refunded, as the space cannot be reassigned. Group environments, even small ones, can be stressful for some dogs (and people). If a trainer determines that a group class is not the right fit for your dog, the value of unused classes may be credited toward private lessons. This option applies only when determined by the trainer, not by client request.
Private Lessons -
Private training sessions are reserved specifically for you and your dog and require advance notice to adjust scheduling.
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be counted as a lesson used and are non-refundable.
- One complimentary make-up lesson may be offered for emergencies or unforeseen illness, when possible.
- Two or more late cancellations or repeated rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of those appointments with no refunds issued.
- If a trainer determines that Wendy’s Canine Training services or environment are not a good fit, a refund for unused sessions will be issued minus a $20 processing fee.
